The client is seeking a Sales Director / Country Manager to supervise business development in Peru and to support the opening and growth of the Ecuador market across sales, marketing, logistics, and distribution. The role is focused on establishing and executing a development strategy and business plan for the managed territory, while protecting and enhancing the company’s global brand image and reputation.
Key responsibilities include maximizing long-term, profitable volume growth of the group’s brands within Peru and Ecuador, exploring and developing market potential, and building benchmark capabilities for the business. The role will drive results against volume, operating profit, and market share objectives, collaborate with marketing, operations, technical, and finance functions within the territory, and ensure distributor alignment and commitment through ongoing governance, training, inventory control, and monthly order reviews.
The role requires building the capabilities of direct reports and preparing sales presentation materials for distributors and retail accounts, leveraging computer skills for business documentation and presentations. The successful candidate will manage analysis and reporting of territory performance, maintain effective communication with distributors to share standards and best practices, support product quality standards across the value chain, and identify key marketing strategies to enable territory business plan achievement. Qualifications include 8–12 years of senior sales and management experience in the soft beverage industry, cross-functional experience across areas such as sales management, distribution and logistics, finance, strategic planning, and consumer marketing, strong leadership and relationship management, negotiation skills, high energy, entrepreneurial drive, computer proficiency, and full fluency in Spanish and English.
