Join the client, a high-growth manufacturer focused on fall protection and industrial safety, serving construction, utilities, energy, telecom, and industrial markets. The client operates with mission-driven leadership and a collaborative, performance-oriented culture where sales leaders help shape company strategy and growth initiatives. This role offers executive-level partnership with senior leadership and direct influence on strategy and execution, along with autonomy to build and scale a modern sales organization.
The role is responsible for driving significant revenue growth over the next several years while building the infrastructure needed to support that scale. You will lead and develop a multi-layered sales organization, including direct team members and a national network of independent representatives, and establish a disciplined, data-driven sales engine covering forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM adoption. You will also align go-to-market efforts across sales, marketing, and customer success to improve customer acquisition, retention, and market penetration, while optimizing product mix and sales strategy to support margin performance and expansion into key growth segments. In addition, you will build new capabilities, such as launching an inside sales function and improving operational efficiency through process automation.
The ideal background includes 10+ years of progressive sales experience with 5+ years in senior leadership within manufacturing, industrial, or safety-focused businesses. Direct experience in fall protection, industrial safety, or closely related B2B environments is strongly preferred, along with a proven record of scaling revenue, building high-performing teams, and implementing sales infrastructure in high-growth settings. You should have strong experience with national account management and distributor/channel sales models, as well as comfort working in complex deal environments. Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and analytics tools is expected, and you should be a strategic, operational leader who can balance setting vision with hands-on execution and uphold a high-integrity, continuous-improvement culture.
