Description

The client is seeking a Retail General Manager to lead the overall strategy and operations of a flagship store. This role is responsible for building a diverse and inclusive culture for both the store team and customers, and for representing the brand as an active spokesperson. The Retail General Manager will lead the full flagship store team and drive results through world-class customer service, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on customer experience.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing store operations strategy, planning and managing cross-functional business improvement projects, and creating materials and processes to support the flagship store and broader expansion. The role will support customer experience across omnichannel touchpoints by setting expectations for excellence in store standards, product demonstrations, personal shopping, marketing and events, and community partnerships, while ensuring strong product and brand knowledge. The position will also oversee logistics coordination for incoming and outgoing product with third-party partners, support accurate daily replenishment, and help enable seamless deliveries for customers purchasing in-store, online, or via courier delivery.

The role will also drive omnichannel sales through effective team leadership and collaboration with store leadership to maximize results. It requires strong collaboration, communication, time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with flagship store management experience with a high attention to detail. The client is particularly interested in a strategic retail executive who may have experience in environments such as travel retail/duty free, cruise ships, amusement parks, or department stores.
