the client is preparing to operate a pioneering surf resort in the Alicante area, envisioned as the brand’s flagship within a high-level sports ecosystem. this role offers an opportunity to lead the opening and ongoing operations of a complex that blends innovation, sport, hospitality, dining, wellness, and lifestyle in a premium, outdoor setting with a strong focus on customer experience.
Reporting to the executive committee, the selected candidate will lead the full pre-opening, including defining standards and operating manuals, shaping the customer journey, overseeing hiring and training, and establishing processes and policies. they will then run the resort’s end-to-end operations across villas, food and beverage, retail, events, wellness, beach club, and common areas, while partnering closely with the Surf Operations leadership to ensure both operational areas deliver a seamless and consistent guest experience.
Key responsibilities include ensuring a premium guest experience for a sophisticated, sports-oriented, and family audience; managing financial performance through P&L, forecasting, pricing strategies, and revenue management; and leading a team of approximately 90–100 people by building culture, excellence, and results orientation. the role also serves as the primary liaison between the property, the executive committee, and relevant partners (including restaurant-related operations), represents the resort with local institutions and stakeholders, and ensures safety, compliance, quality, and sustainability in a highly technical environment while contributing to a scalable, repeatable operating model.
