the client is seeking an experienced Regional Service Director - Europe to lead the transformation of an industrial, production-driven organization into a service-led business. This strategically important role will support the creation of a European operational hub in Poland and focuses on business transformation, operational excellence, financial performance, and service growth across multiple European markets.
The Regional Service Director will develop and implement the target European operating model for industrial services and lead the shift from decentralized, country-based operations to a centralized operational hub. Responsibilities include managing service operations across several European regions, integrating processes, technologies, and teams into a unified end-to-end operating model, and defining operational KPIs, governance frameworks, and performance standards.
The role includes full ownership of regional P&L performance, driving profitability improvement, cost optimization, and working capital management while sustaining growth in the service business and identifying new high-value-added opportunities. The position will also support decisions on the service portfolio and investment priorities, lead centralization initiatives across operations and supply chain and related functions, and drive change management and engagement across a multicultural organization; the successful applicant will bring extensive leadership experience in industrial services or operations management, experience with complex transformations and multi-country leadership, a strong understanding of industrial service operations, demonstrated P&L responsibility, strong process and performance management experience, people leadership through change, and strong analytical and strategic thinking, with fluency in English and Polish and willingness to travel across Europe as required.
