the client is seeking a Regional Sales Executive based in Hong Kong to oversee sales performance for fragrance and cosmetics products across the territory. The role supports retail excellence by improving the appearance of retail space and maintaining brand image in line with visual and merchandising guidelines, including the upkeep of testers, fixtures, and visuals. Responsibilities also include merchandising, managing and training Beauty Advisors, supporting product launches, coordinating marketing events, and maintaining stock inventory.
The Regional Sales Executive will report to and align with the Cruises and Airlines Area Sales Manager. The position includes regularly visiting top cruise ships and airline-related retail points to ensure strong brand presence and to manage KPIs related to sales and merchandising (including reviewing and refining the product assortment toward bestsellers and new items, tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts, and driving monthly sales growth above market through action plans, promotions, and individual sales targets). The role also analyzes market competition and customer information to make recommendations, builds strong relationships with relevant cruise and retail personnel, and collaborates with other internal departments such as training, marketing, merchandising, and customer service to support sales objectives.
Approximately one quarter of the role focuses on training and coaching, including training generic staff who operate beauty stores and participating in ongoing beauty trainings and in-store coaching. The client is seeking a candidate with a strong interest or experience in fragrance and/or cosmetics, with prior experience in regional account management for luxury or fashion brands or as a retail manager in related product categories. Requirements include being detail-oriented and organized, having excellent communication and presentation skills, strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and fluency in English and Mandarin (with Korean and Japanese as a plus). A business administration background is preferred.
