The client is seeking a Board Certified Dermatologist to serve as a Regional Medical Director for dermatology services across a multi-clinic region in North Carolina. This role combines clinical dermatology with regional leadership, including guiding dermatology program development, mentoring providers, and supporting efforts to expand access to specialty dermatologic care within a growing healthcare network.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership for dermatology services across multiple clinics, establishing clinical protocols and standards of care, and supporting primary care providers on dermatologic conditions. The Medical Director will diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions, including skin cancers and chronic skin disorders, and perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy. The role also involves collaborating with leadership to improve patient access to specialty care and assisting with dermatology program development and service expansion.
Required qualifications include an MD or DO and Board Certification in Dermatology, along with an active North Carolina medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
