Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership for dermatology services across multiple clinics, establishing clinical protocols and dermatology standards of care, and supporting primary care providers with guidance on dermatologic conditions. The role includes diagnosing and treating a broad range of dermatologic conditions, performing dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy, and contributing to dermatology program development and service expansion. The Medical Director will also mentor and support dermatology providers and advanced practice clinicians and collaborate with leadership to improve patient access to specialty care.
Required qualifications include an MD or DO and board certification in Dermatology. The position requires an active North Carolina medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
