The client is seeking a Regional Director to lead enterprise sales across a defined US territory for a cybersecurity and resilience technology platform. This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, and infrastructure leaders, helping organizations address resilience, business continuity, and security challenges. The position focuses on owning and exceeding a regional enterprise sales quota while managing opportunities from prospecting through close.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a territory strategy for high-value enterprise accounts, building and maintaining executive-level relationships, and leading discovery, solution presentations, proof-of-concept engagements, and contract negotiations. The Regional Director will partner with SDRs, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive pipeline growth and customer outcomes, while providing accurate weekly and quarterly forecasts of pipeline and revenue using Salesforce. The role also includes representing The client at industry events and providing market feedback and customer insights to Product and leadership teams to influence roadmap and positioning.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a track record of closing large deals and consistent quota attainment in competitive environments. They should have experience selling into enterprise security, cloud, or infrastructure markets and a deep understanding of enterprise procurement, legal review, and security assessment processes. Additional requirements include executive presence to navigate complex organizations and build C-suite relationships, familiarity with enterprise sales qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC, and proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales technologies. Preferred experience includes selling cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, or cloud governance solutions and having existing relationships in relevant enterprise IT security, cloud architecture, or risk management organizations, particularly in early-stage companies scaling go-to-market functions.
