The client seeks a Regional Director of Marketing Communications to lead marketing efforts for a group of three luxury boutique hotels in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. The role is focused on building distinct property identities while growing occupancy and rates and increasing ancillary revenue from high-end luxury guests across areas such as food and beverage, spa, and other activities.
This executive will develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns covering public relations, social media, digital, ecommerce, customer relationship marketing, sales marketing, and collateral. They will also lead the creation of distinctive content, including photography and video, to support strong storytelling across all marketing channels, and will take a lead role in writing annual marketing plans. In addition, they will ensure communications align with each property’s positioning, and they will develop strategies to identify and implement relevant partnerships, sponsorships, and unique guest experiences in collaboration with operations and the guest experience curator.
The client is looking for a marketing leader with 10 to 15+ years of experience in marketing roles, with prior experience serving luxury consumers through luxury goods or luxury consumer services. The ideal candidate is driven and innovative, demonstrates strong multitasking and solution-oriented thinking, and understands the style and nuance required to create distinctive luxury branding for each property. They should have a track record of building brands and delivering results, be collaborative with strong influencing skills, and be able to manage a remote team across properties.
