Description

The client is seeking a Regional Director of Marketing & Communications to lead marketing efforts for a group of three luxury boutique hotel properties across Mexico. This role is focused on building distinct brand images for each property while growing occupancy and rates and increasing ancillary revenues across food & beverage, spa, and other guest activities driven by high-end luxury visitors. The position may appeal to candidates interested in transitioning from luxury brand or agency backgrounds into extremely high-end hospitality.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across public relations, social media, digital marketing, ecommerce, customer relationship marketing, sales marketing, and guest-facing collateral. The role will also support the creation of one-of-a-kind content, including photography and video, to strengthen storytelling across all marketing channels. The Regional Director of Marketing & Communications will take a lead role in writing annual marketing plans, ensuring that communications align with each property’s positioning, and will develop partnerships, sponsorships, and unique guest experiences in collaboration with the operations team and the guest experience curator.

The ideal candidate has 10 to 15+ years of marketing experience and has worked with luxury consumer goods or luxury consumer services. Strong ties to the Mexican market and culture are required, along with a creative and innovative mindset and a strong understanding of the style, design, and nuances of luxury branding. The role calls for demonstrated success building brands and delivering results, collaborative leadership with strong influencing skills, and the ability to manage a remote team at the properties.
