the client is seeking a senior finance leader to report directly to the Regional CEO and to engage with the board. In this role, you will lead and oversee a team of more than 30 people and manage the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the region. You will also ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
You will provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and expansion, manage financial risks, and implement effective internal controls. The role includes leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team to drive operational excellence, as well as collaborating with the executive team to develop and execute corporate strategies. You will present financial reports and insights to stakeholders and the board, contributing to high-impact financial decisions.
The successful applicant will typically have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with professional qualifications (such as CPA or CFA) and strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management practices. Experience of about 20–25 years in accounting and finance and demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals are expected. Proven leadership, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong English communication skills are required, and the role is open to candidates with the right to work in Hong Kong, including Hong Kong PR.
