Regional Manager
The client is seeking a Regional Manager to drive the expansion and development of its retail stores in the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with the client's strategic goals. A significant responsibility is to nurture and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Additionally, the manager will need to stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners is essential, as is managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting to ensure the operation remains profitable. The manager will also represent the client in various business activities both locally and internationally, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
For success in this role, a candidate must have a background in retail operations with a proven track record of scaling businesses. Experience in the Philippines, as well as multiple countries, is preferred. The ideal candidate should be hands-on and capable in both execution and strategic development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders, both local and global. A results-driven mindset focused on achieving targets and goals is crucial, and the manager must be able and willing to travel or relocate as needed.
This position offers a unique chance to scale an organization within the Philippines and subsequently expand into overseas markets. After one year, the business plans to extend into one to two additional countries, allowing the manager to take on a more regional role.
