Description

Lead operational trading innovation by managing end-to-end trading activities, including trade execution oversight, post-trade operations, settlement coordination, and operational risk monitoring. The role will support the smooth running of day-to-day trading operations while helping ensure that systematic strategies can be executed reliably and consistently.

Build and optimize operational infrastructure by designing scalable systems, workflows, and processes that support systematic and high-frequency trading, with a focus on reliability and regulatory alignment. Lead cross-functional teams across operations, compliance, technology, and risk, acting as a bridge between traders, quant researchers, and engineers, and implement robust operational risk controls, monitoring frameworks, and escalation procedures.

Drive technology and automation initiatives by partnering with engineering leadership to automate manual workflows and enhance trading platforms and infrastructure for speed, resiliency, and accuracy. Manage regulatory and compliance oversight, including audits, filings, surveillance, and internal policy development; oversee vendor and exchange relationships; coordinate financial and P&L operations in collaboration with finance leadership; and strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery through redundancy, data recovery, and incident-response processes. The successful applicant is expected to bring extensive experience in quantitative or systematic trading environments, strong knowledge of market microstructure and trading and back-office infrastructure, demonstrated leadership in high-pressure settings, exceptional operational risk and regulatory expertise, and the ability to translate business goals into executable operational capabilities.
