The Provost and Vice-President Academic will report directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor, serving as The Provost and Vice-President Academic will report directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor, serving as the University's Chief Academic Officer. They will be responsible for providing leadership in academic planning, program quality, faculty affairs, and academic policy across multiple campuses and learning environments. As a key member of the Executive Committee, the Provost will play a crucial role in guiding program renewal, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring that educational offerings remain responsive to the evolving needs of learners, communities, and the workforce.In addition to overseeing academic initiatives, the Provost will also be tasked with advancing Indigenous engagement and reconciliation, supporting collegial governance, and aligning academic priorities with the institution's long-term strategic and financial sustainability.
