The client is seeking an experienced and innovative academic leader for the role of Provost and Senior Vice President. This senior executive position provides overall leadership, planning, operations, and evaluation for academic affairs, collaborating with administration, faculty, and staff to support a transformation agenda focused on academic excellence and student success. The Provost will provide leadership and vision for academic operations and academic affairs within the institution’s mission and vision, including accreditation leadership, assessment of pathway programs and general education outcomes, and continuous improvement of academic and student programs and college-wide initiatives. The role also supports a respectful, rigorous, learning-centered environment aligned with core values such as academic excellence, integrity, innovation, sustainability, and lifelong learning.
Key responsibilities include providing senior direction for district-wide academic affairs and college operations, partnering with senior management to oversee strategic planning, analysis, and evaluation of institutional effectiveness, and serving as the chief academic policy, program, and accreditation officer to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards, governing directives, accreditation principles, and college policies and procedures. The Provost leads delegated administrative and management decisions for assigned functional areas, guides the design and ongoing improvement of student pathways, coordinates online learning programs and initiatives in collaboration with relevant academic leadership groups, manages staff performance and accountability, and represents The client in civic, community, and professional organizations across local, state, and national levels.
