Reporting to the president, the provost serves as the university’s chief academic officer and leads the academic enterprise with broad academic vision, a strong foundation in scholarship and teaching, and a commitment to undergraduate, graduate, online, and global education.
the provost is a trusted, highly collaborative member of the president’s cabinet and will work closely with the president, board leadership, vice presidents, deans, faculty, and staff to advance the university’s academic mission. the provost serves as a key advisor on all academic matters and provides thoughtful, innovative, intellectual leadership, including playing a lead role in shaping academic vision and strategy.
