Client is seeking an innovative, mission-driven Program Director to serve as the inaugural leader for a new Family Medicine Residency Program in Savannah, Georgia. This role will build a fully supported residency from the ground up in partnership with existing academic and health system stakeholders, with the goal of launching an ACGME-accredited program.
The Program Director will lead the design, accreditation, and implementation of the training program, building on prior residency launches within the partner system. Initial accreditation efforts for the Family Medicine program begin in 2026, with an expected onboarding of the first cohort by July 2028. The program is planned to reach full capacity of 24 residents (8 residents per year across three years) and may expand over time based on community needs and institutional capacity.
