The client is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and innovative Program Director to lead its Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) and serve as a core member of the program faculty. This is an open-rank, tenure-track position. The Psy.D. program follows a practitioner-scholar model and uses a dual theoretical orientation that integrates cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches.
The Program Director will provide forward-looking leadership for the program, develop and maintain a healthy organizational culture, and work with a collaborative, high-functioning team. Responsibilities include serving as a liaison within the institution, building and supporting the research enterprise, and maintaining comprehensive systems for data collection aligned with APA accreditation standards. The program is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and personality assessment.
The client seeks a leader with a strong record of excellence in academic leadership, teaching, and scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed research and grant writing.
