The client is seeking a Program Director to lead its Disaster Relief & Recovery Program, based in Minnesota. This role supports natural disaster preparedness, relief, and recovery efforts, with an emphasis on communities affected by low-attention disaster events. The Program Director will lead a core disaster relief and recovery grantmaking domain within a broader, multi-domain strategy focused on long-term, measurable, and sustainable impact.
The Program Director will lead and manage the Disaster Relief & Recovery domain, working closely with a team that includes core Program Officers and Program Associate(s), as well as senior leadership and staff across other program and functional areas. Responsibilities include building, managing, and evaluating an effective grantmaking domain, and collaborating to strengthen strategic grantmaking and partnership approaches toward meaningful, measurable outcomes.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of managing skilled teams and experience and credibility in strategic philanthropy.
