The client is seeking a Product Innovation Director to help re-invent cannabis combustion and develop new branded, marketed products. In this role, you will coordinate a series of partners across production, equipment, and materials to support product innovation efforts and bring new concepts through development and launch activities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Innovation or Product Development professional with a background in the Tobacco industry. The role is expected to involve product and equipment development, supplier and contract management, and personnel leadership and development. Startup experience is appreciated, and familiarity with the cannabis industry is also expected.
Requirements include at least a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of product development or product innovation experience in the Tobacco industry. Prior experience in roles such as Product Development Director, Product Innovation Director, or Product Development Manager is appreciated, along with experience that may include working with companies and organizations previously associated with tobacco and cannabis product supply and distribution.
