Description

The client is seeking a Private Clients Director to expand the brand’s presence among Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) in Mexico. The role focuses on growing the clientele through direct engagement, storytelling, prospecting, networking, and client experience, with an expected split of sales and marketing support (approximately 70% sales, 30% marketing support). It is aimed at strengthening brand desirability and loyalty through relationship-led growth with HNWIs.

The Private Clients Director will develop and manage direct relationships with high-net-worth clients across Mexico, aligning engagement with lifestyle interests that fit the brand. The role also includes collaborating with prestige on-premise venues such as bars, restaurants, and hotels to drive client engagement through staff training and exclusive events. Additionally, the director will plan and execute high-profile brand events, establish a sustainable UHNWI network through strategic networking and prospecting, support joint luxury brand events, and coordinate with fostering agents and private client consultants to maintain and expand client relationships.

Key expectations include implementing loyalty and rewards programs to support client retention and repeat sales, using CRM tools to manage client databases and track interactions, and analyzing client data to identify trends, spending patterns, and growth opportunities. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in luxury goods or related fields with a strong emphasis on direct sales to HNWIs, demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required, French proficiency is highly desirable, and flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel as required is expected, with experience in the financial or luxury industry and exposure to B2B, B2C, or private wealth management typically viewed as an advantage.
