Key responsibilities for the Primary Care or Internal Medicine Physician include performing physical exams and minor procedures for high-risk patients, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, prescribing medications, interpreting lab results, educating patients, and making necessary referrals. The physician will also supervise PAs or NPs as assigned, collaborate with care teams to improve outcomes and efficiency, provide inpatient care as needed, and participate in staff meetings and case reviews on call approximately every 6 months. Qualifications include an MD from an accredited institution, a Georgia medical license or eligibility, a passion for compassionate, community-based care, and a team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
