Our client is seeking a President and Vice-Chancellor who will lead the institution in advancing respect and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, championing sustainability, and fostering an inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to integrating Indigenous perspectives and knowledge across academic and community life, as well as a passion for promoting diversity and equity. The President will work closely with the senior leadership team, Senate, Board, and campus community to strengthen trust, collegial governance, and shared purpose.The successful candidate will provide visionary, transparent, and collaborative leadership in all aspects of the university's academic, research, and operational mandate. They will serve as the University's primary external representative, building relationships with government, Indigenous nations, industry, donors, and community partners. The President will play a key role in advancing the University's impact in areas such as climate, environmental change, health and wellness, Indigenous-led scholarship, social justice and equity, and technology and the human experience.
