The client is seeking a President to serve as the senior operating leader responsible for day-to-day management and the ongoing development of the business. This role will guide a founder-built, education-focused organization through its next stage by protecting educational quality, integrity, and the personalized student experience that underpins its reputation. The President will oversee execution of priorities, strengthen both customer and employee experience, and build the operating infrastructure and leadership capacity needed to operate effectively beyond the founder.
The President will lead the administrative team and translate organizational priorities into clear plans and accountability. Responsibilities include improving workflows, decision-making, talent practices, and performance visibility, while also building growth capabilities to expand the organization’s reach without compromising what makes it exceptional. The role includes partnering and relationship-building with families, schools, counselors, and other referral sources, and evaluating expansion opportunities thoughtfully in alignment with quality standards and prudent economics.
The position reports to The client’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer and offers a genuine opportunity to progress into the Chief Executive Officer role as performance, trust, and organizational readiness are established. The role is based at The client’s headquarters in Short Hills, New Jersey, with an expectation of on-site presence and occasional travel. The ideal candidate is an accomplished operator and growth leader with the judgment, presence, and enterprise perspective to lead at the CEO level, combined with humility to learn a specialized business and manage a thoughtful founder transition.
