This role will lead a college positioned at the intersection of academic excellence and clinical practice, supporting workforce-aligned programs that respond to regional and broader healthcare needs.
The client’s education and clinical environment is embedded within an integrated, not-for-profit health care system, including a large academic medical center and long-standing commitment to education and research. The President is expected to shape innovative health-sciences education pathways that strengthen connections from training to employment, advance the institution’s legacy, and uphold academic integrity while operating within a shared-services and matrixed environment.
The President will report jointly to senior leadership within the health system and the governing board, navigating shared services while maintaining independence and meeting expectations of accreditation. Qualified candidates will have a degree aligned with senior leadership in higher education and substantial, progressively responsible experience across higher education and healthcare and/or nursing, plus proven skill partnering across academic and health system environments, with strong governance acumen, board partnership experience, and a growth- and innovation-oriented approach. The client also emphasizes inclusion and belonging, psychological safety, and trust as key cultural priorities.
