The client is conducting a retained executive search for its next President / CEO. The organization is a cultural institution that brings together world-class performances, arts education, community engagement, and historic preservation to enrich Minnesota’s cultural landscape. It operates multiple historic venues, serving hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, and is positioned to shape the future of its theatre district while expanding its impact through performance, education, and community engagement.
The President / CEO is expected to lead the organization at a transformational stage following the acquisition and consolidation of its historic theatre portfolio. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President / CEO will serve as chief executive, strategist, and ambassador, guiding organizational direction and execution. This role will work closely with board members, civic leaders, donors, artists, and community partners to advance the organization’s vision, strengthen long-term sustainability, and support downtown revitalization.
In addition, the President / CEO will be responsible for expanding opportunities for audiences and communities across Minnesota, while reinforcing the organization’s mission through arts programming and community engagement initiatives. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong executive leadership, strategic planning capability, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
