The client is seeking a dynamic President & Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic, financial, operational, and external leadership for a healthcare workforce organization being built from the ground up. the role is focused on developing human capital and advancing residents and their families as valued contributors to economic and social growth, by investing in workforce development through barrier removal and durable skills training.
reporting to the governing board, the President & Chief Executive Officer will build and expand healthcare workforce programs, establish an effective organizational culture from day one, and develop a high-performing team. responsibilities include building the organizational infrastructure, systems, and policies for a successful startup; creating partnerships with healthcare employers, community organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and philanthropic partners; and ensuring the organization is positioned as a trusted workforce partner.
the President & Chief Executive Officer will lead fundraising, grant development, donor cultivation, government relations, and public relations, while also developing and overseeing annual budgets, financial performance, internal controls, and long-term sustainability. additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, leading accreditation and regulatory approvals, driving continuous quality improvement, and using data to evaluate key outcomes such as enrollment, completion, credential attainment, placement, retention, financial performance, and overall organizational impact.
