The client is seeking a collaborative, innovative, mission-driven President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and direction and advance the organization’s long-term success. This executive will ensure organizational excellence, drive innovation, and promote a culture grounded in collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. The President and CEO will work closely with the client’s Board of Directors, the senior executive team, and external collaborators to advance priorities and achieve strategic goals.

The client is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the assessment of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal care. Its mission spans the full spectrum of health professions across education, training, and practice, with work that includes developing and managing major assessment programs in collaboration with relevant regulatory and partner entities. Leveraging assessment expertise, the organization supports individual, institutional, and system-level improvement through rigorous research, the development of high-quality evaluation instruments, and the creation of comprehensive assessment and learning tools that help build a diverse and compassionate healthcare workforce.

The next President and CEO will lead the client into its next era by executing strategies aligned with a long-range vision and responding to a dynamic healthcare, education, and policy landscape. Responsibilities are expected to include overseeing initiatives such as digital transformation and technology-enabled innovation, creating new products and formative assessments focused on relevant healthcare skills and behaviors, and maintaining the high level of trust and dependability of key assessment offerings. The role calls for an accomplished, forward-thinking executive with strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, financial and business acumen, and a deep understanding of health professions assessment and education; experience with innovation, change management, and partner organizations in the field is highly desirable.
