Description

The client seeks a President and CEO to provide full administrative, fiscal, and operational leadership for a mission-driven organization serving people living with HIV and those vulnerable to HIV or chronic conditions. The role includes strategic oversight of both the client and its supporting organization, the Center for Housing and Health, with responsibility for advancing the client’s mission and strategic priorities. The organization’s work includes HIV care and related supportive services, housing-focused programs such as eviction prevention and rent support, behavioral health services, and advocacy efforts addressing social determinants of health.

The President and CEO will help drive key strategic priorities, including leading statewide implementation efforts aimed at ending the HIV epidemic, expanding supportive housing models that recognize stable housing as foundational to health outcomes, and implementing an internal and external equity and justice approach. The role also involves strengthening diversified funding by growing private philanthropy and corporate partnerships to complement government grants. The organization serves thousands of people annually and partners with multiple agencies to deliver services and mobilize priority communities.

The successful candidate will be a visionary, mission-driven executive who can provide steady leadership during a planned leadership transition. The position is accountable to the client’s Board of Directors and is expected to sustain momentum toward ambitious goals such as ending the HIV epidemic, reducing homelessness, advancing racial equity, and protecting access to care amid a difficult and uncertain public funding environment. The client will support a smooth transition to the next leader, building on a legacy of advocacy, resilience, and transformative impact.
