The President + CEO of our client is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the organization, including strategic planning, financial stewardship, organizational development, stakeholder engagement, communications, and staff and volunteer leadership. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role involves shaping and advancing the organizational vision to ensure that strategic priorities, operations, and partnerships are aligned with the mandate to support athlete, coach, and official development, community engagement, and participation in sport across BC. The President and CEO also focuses on building on the organization's strong reputation and legacy by leading organizational sustainability, fostering collaborative relationships with government, sport, community, and corporate partners, and promoting a barrier-free safe sport environment.The President and CEO of our client plays a vital role in advancing the Society's long-term impact and ensuring the successful delivery of the BC Winter and BC Summer Games, as well as Team BC through the Canada Summer and Winter Games. This leadership position requires a strong commitment to supporting the development of athletes, coaches, and officials, as well as fostering community engagement and participation in sport throughout British Columbia. The President and CEO must also demonstrate effective communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and the capacity to lead and inspire staff and volunteers to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
