The client is seeking an HR Generalist to support people-centered, equity-focused HR service delivery across client organizations. The role serves as a day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, accurate guidance on routine HR questions and processes while routing more complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate team member. The HR Generalist helps ensure HR interactions feel clear, accessible, relational, and trustworthy, with a strong focus on compliance, confidentiality, employee care, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include supporting the employee lifecycle by reviewing offer letters and related employment documents for accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance; reviewing new hire requests and materials for alignment with client-specific requirements; and leading organized onboarding and orientation to HR systems, policies, expectations, and resources. The role also coordinates standard offboarding tasks such as checklists, system access termination notices, employee record updates, and routing final pay and PTO information to the appropriate Payroll owner, including identifying termination-related questions or risk factors that should be escalated before guidance or decisions are finalized.
The HR Generalist will maintain onboarding and offboarding resources, templates, workflows, and checklists; support payroll accuracy by ensuring timely and accurate HR inputs for new hires, terminations, pay changes, and additional earnings; and route payroll discrepancies or pay-impacting issues for resolution. The position also supports compliance and reporting tasks such as organizing data for required filings, distributing required notices, initiating standard vendor portal processes, responding to data requests, and collaborating to maintain audit readiness, with working awareness of compliance-sensitive areas and prompt escalation for interpretation, eligibility review, or risk assessment.
