The client is seeking a Director of Radiology to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging activities and help maintain high-quality patient care. The role will support the delivery of outstanding patient and family-centered experiences while embracing the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The Director will participate in operational and strategic planning as part of the management team.
Key responsibilities include setting and driving departmental goals across patient care, employee development, training, recognition, satisfaction, retention and recruitment, and future-focused planning such as budgeting, cost management, revenue, and new service development. The Director will ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, collaborate with others to meet goals and resolve challenges, and assume 24-hour responsibility for department operations.
The position requires graduation from an accredited school of Radiographic Technology and at least five years of management experience, along with a minimum of three years of Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging experience, with hospital experience being preferred. Candidates must be a currently registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT licensure and hold current California Radiographic Technology (CRT) licensure.
