The client is seeking a People Director to join their team in Bristol. This role will involve leading an HR team of seven initially, with plans for expansion due to an upcoming merger and acquisition. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all areas of HR, including policy alignment, cultural change, HRIS, recruitment, and performance management. They will also be tasked with developing and executing the People Strategy, sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, and chairing the People Committee and Trade Unions.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an HR leadership role, preferably within the education or public/charitable sectors. Experience in managing and leading an HR team at a senior level, driving HR change and transformation, and implementing integration projects will be beneficial. A strong background in talent management, cultural transformation, leadership development, and knowledge of UK employment law is required. A CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent is highly desirable. The client offers a hybrid working policy with 2-3 days in the office located in North Bristol.
