The client is seeking an Operations Director to focus on processes, people, and quality improvements as it supports global expansion. Reporting to the CEO, this role will develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability across departments, while ensuring day-to-day operations remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with the client’s strategic objectives.
The Operations Director will oversee daily manufacturing operations and directly coordinate four functional leaders across Production, Machining, Procurement, and Planning, supporting cross-functional integration and managerial development for a 100+ person workforce. The role will design and implement robust operational processes, emphasizing control, scalability, and continuous improvement, and will collaborate with senior executives to drive business growth, profitability, and overall organizational performance.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing operational and industrial KPIs to optimize resource allocation, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering or management and proven experience managing operational and strategic initiatives in complex, engineered-to-order environments, with practical budget management capabilities, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
