The role requires strategic vision and a clear focus on improving the operational efficiency index. It will lead the efficient management of Operations to ensure customer satisfaction and drive excellence, including strategic direction, daily operational monitoring, departmental optimization, and the rollout of corporate plans and projects. The position includes end-to-end site management while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards, and it will also foster continuous improvement through team leadership, interdepartmental collaboration, and consistent performance focus.
Key responsibilities include supervising the areas within its scope, such as production, maintenance, purchasing, planning, safety, environmental management, and quality control-related activities. The role will drive operational optimization processes, lead the design and implementation of capex and opex for its areas of influence, and ensure compliance with established safety, health, and environmental regulations. It will manage operational governance by developing and leading industrial governance models aligned with the corporate framework, implementing and leading operational excellence, and applying continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing to identify, analyze, and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve productivity.
The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of efficiency and quality through ongoing communication and collaboration, providing training and mentoring on Lean Manufacturing principles and tools within the company’s governance system. The role will support employees in problem-solving and continuous improvement opportunities, lead and evaluate its team to promote personal and professional development, and coordinate people leadership aligned with the company’s people-management direction and values. It is expected to comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements, and the candidate should have experience in paint manufacturing processes (or similar) or in chemical batch manufacturing environments, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in plant leadership or a comparable role, along with advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
