the client seeks an experienced operations director to support growth in residential real estate development, with a focus on well-located urban areas in Poland. The role is part of the senior management team and will oversee operational activities across the full residential development lifecycle, from project acquisition and development through construction, completion, handover, and commercialisation.
Key responsibilities include taking full ownership of operational performance, overseeing projects from planning and permitting through construction and delivery (including sales), and playing an active role in the land acquisition process. The operations director will lead and coordinate internal teams across development, construction, and commercial functions, optimize operational processes and cost structures, manage project timelines, and collaborate with general contractors, designers, consultants, and public authorities.
The position will also involve budget control and ongoing operational reporting to senior leadership, identifying and mitigating operational and execution risks, and contributing to shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy. Candidates are expected to have strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, deep understanding of the full investment and construction process, highly developed analytical and decision-making skills, and fluency in English, with technical or business education preferred; relevant director-level experience delivering residential projects is required, along with experience in managing competence and development of internal teams.
