The Operating Partner role in a European Infrastructure Manager involves driving growth and optimizing performance for new and existing portfolio companies. Our client, a European Infrastructure Manager with global expansion plans, is seeking a strategic thinker with an affinity for the Infrastructure/Energy Transition sector, preferably Transportation. The Operating Partner will work alongside the investment team to develop and manage the portfolio companies, monitor and implement business plans, establish relationships with potential investors and business partners, and identify potential business opportunities within the portfolio companies.
The successful applicant for the Operating Partner role will have a Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or science, with an MBA being a plus. They should have 15 years of experience in the finance industry across Private Equity or top-tier Strategy consulting, with a minimum of 5 years in a C-level role in a private equity-owned company. Strong networking and communication skills are essential, along with experience in project finance execution or infrastructure investments. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, entrepreneurial, and have great communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and German.
