Oakfield Trust, a community-based social enterprise with registered charity status, is seeking new Board Members/Trustees, particularly from the Community & Voluntary Sector. The client provides property-based services and supports for community and local projects in marginalized areas and socially excluded communities. Currently, Oakfield Trust owns three properties and leases two in the Clondalkin area.
The Board of Oakfield Trust is a voluntary collective decision-making and oversight body that acts in the best interests of the organization. They are looking to recruit new members with experience in Management and/or practice in the Community, Voluntary, Statutory, or Local Government sectors. Ideal candidates should have an understanding of corporate governance in the voluntary and community sector or be willing to participate in relevant training.
This is a great opportunity to join a diverse Board of passionate and enthusiastic Directors at Oakfield Trust. The Board meets approximately 6-7 times a year for approximately 2 hours, usually in the evenings on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
