Impact Loop is seeking a hands-on news director to lead a small editorial team, edit texts, compile daily newsletters, and write short stories and news articles. The role will involve finding and reporting on current industry issues, hot topics, industry figures, and events. Utilizing various data sources and maintaining close industry contacts will be essential in this position. The incoming news director will take over from the current director and have the opportunity to hire additional team members as Impact Loop expands. This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the editorial team, managing daily newsletters, and producing original news content. They will be expected to stay informed on industry developments, maintain close industry relationships, and actively seek out news stories. The news director will have the opportunity to grow with Impact Loop and shape the direction of the editorial team.
