Description

Director, New Business for Project Solutions, serving the Greater Charlotte metro in an in-office capacity. This is a hunting, full-cycle role focused on creating new demand that does not currently exist in the sales funnel, opening doors in an open territory, and building a net-new book of business through your own outreach. You will own the market and carry your own pipeline from first conversation through signed engagement, acting as the market-facing engine that connects client problems to the organization’s delivery capabilities.

The position is self-directed and business development-focused, not account management or order-taking, and it is not intended to rely on inbound leads or support from an SDR to feed the pipeline. The role supports growth beyond traditional staffing into broader talent solutions and specifically Project Solutions delivered as scoped bodies of work executed by specialized talent and teams, with an emphasis on outcomes rather than headcount. You are expected to win new business, expand wallet share within newly opened accounts, and introduce Project Solutions to clients who may know the organization through other offerings but have not previously engaged for solutions.

Success is measured through building and maintaining a qualified self-generated pipeline across the Greater Charlotte metro, including driving frequent client-facing discovery and scoping meetings that move opportunities forward. You are expected to generate multiple new opportunities weekly, qualify and track net-new prospects, and convert pipeline into signed solutions deals on a monthly cadence. The role also includes networking and community visibility through periodic in-person events and consultative discovery to identify key triggers such as transformation initiatives, system or platform implementations, merger and acquisition activity, and restructuring, then shaping discussions into defined scopes with clear outcomes; partnership with account and delivery teams is expected to ensure seamless extension of existing relationships.
