Description

The client is seeking a National Sales Executive to drive national business development, expand market presence, and build strategic relationships with brokers, consultants, and clients. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities while managing renewals and supporting long-term client retention and growth. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and experience navigating complex healthcare or employee benefits environments.

Key responsibilities include managing and growing a book of business through renewals, retention strategies, and new business development. The role will build and maintain relationships to drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships, prospect and engage new broker and consultant relationships through proactive outreach, and pursue opportunities to expand market share within assigned territories and target markets. The National Sales Executive will also serve as a primary point of contact for escalated client and broker concerns, develop a deep understanding of products, services, technology solutions, and market trends, and stay aware of competitive dynamics and industry developments.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience is expected across sales, business development, and/or account management, including demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with brokers, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders. Strong communication skills, organizational ability, proficiency with common business software and virtual meeting platforms, experience discussing technology-enabled solutions with technical teams, and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territories and nationally are expected, with experience in self-funded healthcare, employee benefits, or third-party administration typically preferred.
