the client is seeking a dynamic, collaborative Executive Director to lead the launch and establishment of the client’s Nashville site. This entrepreneurial leader will build a Selection Advisory Council and run the diligence and selection process, including identifying priority community needs, selecting portfolio organizations, and supporting those organizations as they launch and grow. The role also includes stewarding and securing funders and other resources to support the Nashville effort and engaging a wide variety of constituents in the work.

Key responsibilities include providing programmatic leadership by convening a community-wide Selection Advisory Council to advise on high-priority community needs and the vetting and selection of portfolio organizations. The Executive Director will manage an annual selection process, conducting rigorous diligence and landscape analysis to assess organizational potential for impact and community fit. They will steward resources and contribute to implementing the client’s Method of Impact in Nashville, partnering with peers across other sites to share what works and support the national network. Reporting is to a Vice President, Site Success, and the position will be expected to work autonomously to drive meaningful, measurable community impact.
