The client is seeking a Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator to lead and implement strategies that recruit prospective students into its degree programs. The role focuses on expanding awareness, building relationships with community organizations and prospective students, and supporting enrollment goals by driving a high volume of qualified applicants for the admissions process. The client’s model is designed for working adults in the early childhood education workforce, and the coordinator is expected to bring a strong understanding of adult learners, equitable access to higher education, and early education pathways.
Key responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students and delivering tailored program overviews for working adults, multilingual students, and early childhood educators. The coordinator will plan and conduct recruitment events such as presentations, job fairs, partner-hosted sessions, and webinars across California, and provide responsive guidance through virtual and in-person support channels including scheduled drop-in hours. The role also involves tracking and reporting prospective student data to evaluate recruitment effectiveness, generate leads, convert leads into applicants through proactive outreach, and maintain consistent follow-up, with lead generation performance used to measure results.
The coordinator will sustain and nurture relationships with community-based organizations, school districts, workforce boards, family child care networks, and employer partners to identify recruitment opportunities. Responsibilities also include collaborating with agency partners to host joint information sessions and distribute recruitment materials, aligning outreach messaging with admissions and workforce capacity and application timelines, and supporting the development and distribution of recruitment communications such as presentations and email campaigns. The role may include managing social media engagement for outreach and recruitment in alignment with a Director-led plan, ensuring all outreach content is reviewed and approved, and maintaining an up-to-date calendar of recruitment events.
