The client is seeking a Multilingual Admissions Coordinator to help convert prospective early childhood educators into enrolled students through an admissions and enrollment pathway. This is a full-time, 12-month role focused on welcoming, advising, and mentorship to guide applicants through the admissions process while fostering a strong sense of community belonging and equitable access to success.
In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing clear and encouraging guidance throughout the admissions journey. Responsibilities include proactively following up to ensure applications are completed (including employment verification, transcripts, and language assessments), meeting individually with applicants to assess needs and review transcripts, outlining prospective degree pathways, tracking application status in a database, and guiding students through enrollment while identifying and addressing potential barriers. You will also be expected to respond to inquiries from working professionals and help drive application growth through proactive outreach and consistent follow-up, with performance evaluated by application-to-enrollment conversion outcomes.
You will additionally support incoming and enrolled students through technology readiness and mentoring, helping students build confidence and academic readiness for success in technology-supported learning environments. The role includes providing follow-up advising for students who need additional support, using encouraging guidance to strengthen belonging among historically marginalized groups. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support decision-making and program evaluation, and will maintain a flexible schedule to meet students’ needs.
