As a Medical Science Director/Medical Science Liaison, you will support medical affairs activities across oncology and other related therapeutic areas such as infectious disease and nephrology through compliant scientific exchange, insight gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, pharmacy stakeholders, and institutional decision-makers across inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring accurate and meaningful scientific communication.
You will identify and engage emerging and established key opinion leaders, develop and maintain relationships within healthcare systems, and support scientific discussions at medical congresses and advisory boards. You will contribute to medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and evidence dissemination activities, and may support clinical trial site identification, investigator education, and investigator-sponsored research initiatives.
You will respond to medical information requests in accordance with applicable policies, document adverse events, and maintain expertise in relevant disease states and products. You will also provide scientific education and training to internal stakeholders and collaborate to drive aligned objectives; the role requires an advanced healthcare or scientific degree (such as MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, or PA-C or equivalent). Oncology experience is required, while prior field medical/scientific liaison experience and experience within academic institutions, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical/biotech environments are preferred, along with demonstrated relationship-building, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific information.
