The client is seeking a Marketing Director to lead the development, coordination, and execution of regional marketing programs across Latin America (LATAM), the Caribbean, and South America. This role will oversee launch activities, event management, sales promotions, partner portal management, communications, budget planning, and initiatives focused on business growth. The position is expected to drive retail sales, distributor engagement, and consumer awareness while increasing brand relevance and overall market presence.
Key responsibilities include developing short- and long-term marketing plans, budgets, and performance monitoring; ensuring adherence to plans; and evaluating results to improve effectiveness. The Marketing Director will lead local marketing teams and manage internal and external communications with stakeholders to support timely rollout of new products and relevant marketplace materials, including point-of-sale assets and artwork. The role will also coordinate programs and technical assistance that help country-level teams with marketing, communications, and positioning, and will provide guidance on local marketing, communications, and public relations.
The Marketing Director will direct editorial and creative production for artwork, events, and related assets, coordinate media interest with a PR agency, and support ongoing market reviews to monitor local trends and assets. The role will establish and monitor systems and procedures to ensure smooth operation of marketing plans at both regional and country levels, and it will include people leadership responsibilities such as recruiting, training, appraising, supervising, and supporting team members. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of marketing experience with international exposure in consumer-facing industries relevant to Latin America, bilingual English and Spanish, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and proficiency with MS Office; significant international travel and extended hours are expected, along with familiarity in multicultural environments and first-point support for distribution partner portal questions and related needs.
