The role is responsible for leading and owning the overall marketing strategy with the goal of maximizing return on investment, aligning marketing initiatives to business objectives, and driving both short-term and long-term performance and profitability targets.
The marketing executive will design, implement, and execute the marketing plan, including directing short-range and long-range programs and systems that support the strategic direction of the casino. Responsibilities include developing and managing the annual marketing budget and operating plan, ensuring social media messaging remains consistent with the brand and is updated regularly, conducting marketing surveys and market research to evaluate current and new product concepts (including competitor analysis), and maintaining strong cross-department communication to support effective marketing projects.
The position also supports internal control policies and procedures related to marketing, oversees marketing staff performance through periodic evaluations, and administers disciplinary actions when necessary. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred, along with extensive marketing industry experience and demonstrated director-level leadership in a casino setting. Experience in the South Florida gaming market is preferred, and the candidate must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license, demonstrate strong leadership and customer service skills, and provide excellent verbal and written communication while working effectively as part of a team.
