We are seeking a Managing Director (50-80%) for the client, an autonomous association focused on organizing internships for apprentices in Switzerland and abroad. The position involves leading the office, supervising part-time employees, collaborating with various stakeholders, and representing the association within the Rotary network and other relevant organizations.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced business administration qualification, experience in leading associations or nonprofits, and a background in vocational education and training. Strong communication, project management, fundraising, and IT skills are required, along with proficiency in German, French, and English. Knowledge of Italian is a plus, as is familiarity with Rotary.
Responsibilities include overseeing internship coordination, collaborating with Movetia and other partners, managing fundraising and communications efforts, and ensuring financial accountability in a nonprofit setting. The role also involves representing the association at events and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The client is looking for a persuasive, goal-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for making a difference in vocational education and training.
