Seeking a Managing Director of Youth Behavioral Health to lead initiatives that promote mental health and well-being for children and youth in North Carolina. The Managing Director will work with senior leaders within the client and across the Blue Cross NC family of companies to create a strategy that leverages grantmaking, partnerships, and other resources to make a meaningful impact on youth behavioral health. Responsibilities include overseeing grantmaking efforts, managing a team of program officers, and fostering collaborations to improve youth mental health.
The Managing Director will be responsible for designing and implementing a stakeholder-informed strategy that utilizes the client's resources to improve youth behavioral health and resiliency in North Carolina. This includes partnering with leaders across Blue Cross NC to leverage company assets such as data, volunteerism, and products and services. The role also involves managing a team that supports a portfolio of grants, contracts, and consultant relationships, as well as overseeing budget and policy compliance for assigned programs.
In addition to grantmaking and program management, the Managing Director will focus on building cross-sector relationships to promote collaborative efforts and coalitions that advance solutions for youth mental health across the state. This includes collaborating with community and state leaders, as well as partners within the business, to improve access to high-quality care and support for youth behavioral health. The Managing Director will also represent the organization at community events and forums related to the mission of improving health for all.
